The Witches Brew Tea Room
Tucked away in the corner of the main shop is the cosy little tea shop, known as ‘The Witches Brew’. Visitors are regularly drawn to its door by the teasing smells from the kitchen (the home cooked cakes are delicious). As well as offering tea and cakes, the café also offers a good range of straightforward wholesome snacks and the coffee is excellent.
There is a friendly, welcoming atmosphere to the place and it has become a very popular stop off. The café is clean, tidy and very comfortable and whilst its decoration hints at witches, you’ll find no trace of rats or frogs, nor even a cobweb.
The Gloucestershire Craft Collection
Known as the Gloucestershire Craft collection, this shop is the display case for a group of very talented local crafters. The shop operates as a cooperative and is manned each day by one of the group. They offer a delightful and very varied range of home crafted products, all at very competitive prices.
The shop has really established itself at the site and is a favourite with many of our regulars as well as being very popular with tourists seeking county made gifts.
Commissioned work is also regularly undertaken.
