Fennel - Green
Green Fennel is a native plant of southern Europe with glossy, erect stems and feathery, bright green leaves. Yellow flowwers are flat umbels, attractive to polliantors. The whole plant has an aniseed flavour, use the leaves with rich fish such as salmon. Leaves or seeds may also be used with pork or to flavour soups, salads and sauces. Height 150cm. Hardy perennial.
