Irish Gold

Irish Gold is a new variety to the home garden market. It was bred in the early 2000`s in Dublin and has been growing in popularity ever since. it is on course to become the most popular potato grown in Ireland. The creamy tasting flesh lies behind a cream coloured skin, covered in purple patches over the eyes. It`s a great all rounder, particularly good for baking and mashing due to it`s fluffy flesh. One to watch!
