Andean Sunside is a Peruvian variety in the same vein as the Mayan family of potatoes. It has an orange-yellow flesh that expresses its unusual colour more on cooking. The small oval tubers are irregular in shape and can be very floury. It produces good yields when grown on good quality soil but doesn’t store too well. A potato that has many culinary uses and is a bit different from the usual spuds.
